Play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Without a High-End Console or PC

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will officially launch on October 23, arriving on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Switch 2. Even if you don't have a next-gen console or a high-end PC, you can still play the game via NVIDIA GeForce Now cloud gaming service. All you need is a device capable of cloud streaming and a stable internet connection, as it doesn't rely on local hardware performance.

无需高端主机和PC 玩家也能游玩《使命召唤:现代战争4》

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III's complete content, including Campaign, Multiplayer, and DMZ modes, fully supports cloud streaming. Note that you still need to purchase the base game license; the cloud service only provides remote computing power and does not waive the cost of buying the game.

The barrier to entry for local PC play isn't extreme; the minimum system requirements are modest, with older GPUs like the GTX 970 or 1060 capable of running the game. However, an SSD is mandatory, and the game requires 115GB of storage space. Players wishing to enable ray tracing at high settings will need a high-end graphics card.

Cloud gaming performance heavily depends on network quality. Network fluctuations can cause latency, video compression artifacts, and stuttering. A wired connection provides a more stable experience than Wi-Fi.
