Following positive reviews and player feedback for Star Wars: Galactic Racers, Fuse Games has shifted its focus to post-launch work and future content. CEO Matt Webster also discussed the unexpected popularity of supporting character Biddy Blas, whose related clips have garnered millions of views on social media.
Webster stated that while the team knew characters like Biddy and Hibi might be popular with players, they did not anticipate the community would embrace and spread these characters on such a large scale, with some players even starting to quote Huttese. He described this response as "amazing" and believes it demonstrates the appeal of the Star Wars universe in accommodating unconventional heroes and exotic alien characters.
Biddy was originally just one of the racers accompanying players in touring events. Regarding whether merchandise for this character will be released, Webster stated that the decision lies with Lucasfilm; as for bringing her into the "Galaxy's Edge" themed area, he merely expressed his personal anticipation.
Webster also reflected on the team's early collaboration with Lucasfilm Games and discussed the game's current performance and the team's future focus. Although the interview title mentions DLC, no expansion pack name, specific content, release date, or pricing has been announced yet, so it cannot be considered an official announcement of new DLC.
