The game reached version 2.0 with the "Frozen Footprints" update on October 8, adding new maps, weapons, and mechs. The concurrent discount was the largest to date, reducing the price by 50% to $19.99. According to a report by Alinea Analytics analyst Rhys Elliott, these measures drove a return of players on Steam and spurred a resurgence on other launched platforms.

The report estimates that around 150,000 new players joined the game during the free weekend. In the three days following the end of the trial, the game sold an additional 150,000 copies, generating approximately $3 million in revenue, a figure that does not yet include income from microtransactions.

The developers also conducted PvE testing from October 13 to 20 to cater to the community's preference for more friendly player interactions. Executive Producer Aleksander Grøndal previously stated that while the team is open to potentially splitting the current PvEvP experience into separate PvE and PvP zones in the long term, this plan has not yet been finalized.
