"Amiko Legends" Steam Next Fest Demo Now Available, Early Access Launching End of Year

Aurory has released an updated demo of Amiko Legends during the Steam Next Fest, with plans to launch Early Access on PC by late 2026. This extraction-based RPG centers around creature collection, aiming for a full 1.0 release in 2027.

The game is set in the world of Okima, which changes based on player actions. Players must tame wild creatures, gather rare resources, and engage in Blitz, a turn-based tactical battle system. Items, upgrades, and captured monsters obtained during expeditions are only retained if you successfully extract to a checkpoint; failure to extract may result in permanent loss of loot.

Compared to the closed beta test in summer 2026, the new demo adds a jumping mechanic and revamps the first ecological zone, introducing more vertical exploration space and hidden storage points. The development team has also added single-player challenges, expanded the pet rarity growth system with crafting recipes, adjusted negative status effects in combat, and rebalanced ten combat creatures. All characters, creatures, environments, and other visual assets in the game are created by human artists.

Amiko Legends will adopt a one-time purchase model on Steam rather than being free-to-play. The current demo offers only single-player exploration, player-versus-player combat, and an English interface, with controller support and cooperative PvE to be added later.

This demo is available for a limited time. As the economy system is planned for a major overhaul, your current progress in the demo will not carry over to the official release.
