studio rabbiko has announced that the island decoration game "Bunny Island" will launch on Steam on October 29, 2026. This version rebuilds interactions and interfaces for PC, adding features such as Idle Mode and Full Island Screenshots.
In the game, players take on the role of an uninhabited island manager, attracting rabbits by placing furniture and various small items to build up the island. "Bunny Island" was first released on smartphones in September 2023, with global downloads exceeding 3 million.
The Steam version is not a direct port. The development team re-examined and rebuilt the game from the perspective of PC operation, adding keyboard shortcuts and a customizable, user-friendly interface to make it easier for players to manage and decorate their islands.
The newly added Idle Mode allows players to continuously view the island scenery, functioning like a screensaver; the Full Island Screenshot feature saves the entire island as a single image for recording and sharing your building achievements. The Steam version uses a one-time purchase model, with no ads or in-game purchases.
