The official enhanced remake series "Dragon Ball Super: Beerus" is currently airing. Episode 2 revisits the battle between Goku and Beerus on King Kai's Planet, making significant improvements to the controversial scenes from the 2015 TV anime.
Some scenes of Goku in the original battles were of poor quality and have long been turned into memes by fans. Although the home media version later adjusted these scenes, their performance during the initial broadcast remains one of the negative impressions from the early days of the series.
The new version introduces new camera angles, visual effects, and music, while further condensing the storyline. The confrontation that didn't appear until episode 5 in the original TV series now unfolds in episode 2 of the remake. The original TV anime was adapted from the movie "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods," and its additional expanded content was considered somewhat sluggish by some viewers; this adjustment reflects the direction of re-editing.
"Dragon Ball Super: Beerus" plans to continue strengthening the "Battle of Gods," "Resurrection 'F'," and "Universe 6" arcs. The total number of episodes has not yet been announced, nor has it been clarified whether other arcs will receive similar treatment.
