A batch of development materials allegedly related to Dead or Alive 7 has appeared online, covering plans for at least five new fighters and paid season pass characters. The leak also claims that at least eight completed characters may be removed from the launch roster, but these statements have not been confirmed by Koei Tecmo.
An anonymous user posted multiple photos in a relevant Reddit community, claiming they were taken in the project's development office. The images reportedly include early character selection screens, training mode interfaces, test battles, and concept art, featuring series characters such as Kasumi, Ayane, Christie, and Leon.
According to the leaker, Dead or Alive 7 plans to include at least five new fighters, including a possible guest character from Ninja Gaiden, Byung-hoon inspired by K-pop idols, heavyweight boxer Hugo, Mina Lee who may be related to Li Qiang, and a wrestler named Kelly or Pearl. Concept art reportedly also features Helena, Ringo, Marie Rose, and Honoka.
The leak also claims that team management may remove at least eight completed characters from the launch roster, releasing them later via a paid season pass, including Diego, Ein, and Alpha-152. Currently, the authenticity of the images, character roster, development status, and business arrangements remain to be verified, and it is uncertain whether the content still represents the current plan.
