The official Square Enix Store now has the Final Fantasy IX "Denouement" puzzle available for pre-order. Priced at $37, this 25th-anniversary merchandise is scheduled for release in November 2026.
The puzzle features the game's original "Denouement" key visual and contains approximately 1,000 pieces. Once assembled, it measures about 51 x 73.5 cm, making it suitable for display as a collectible item.
Originally released in 2000, Final Fantasy IX is set in the fantasy world of Gaia. The story follows Zidane Tribal, who attempts to kidnap Princess Garnet and becomes embroiled in a larger conflict. This merchandise does not include new game content; instead, it features original artwork transformed into a physical puzzle.
The product page notes that due to the puzzle's aspect ratio and manufacturing process, the actual piece count may vary slightly from 1,000. Additionally, the currently listed November 2026 release date is only an estimated window and may be subject to change.
