"Sil and the Realm of Fading" Demo Expanded: Adds Assassin Specialization and Pet System

The solo action RPG Sil and the Realm of Fading has expanded its free demo for Steam Next Fest, adding the Assassin specialization for the Rogue class, the Dunevault dungeon, and a pet system, further increasing build variety during the trial phase.

The Assassin specialization introduces new combat styles and build directions. Players can also challenge the boss Dunewarden in the Dunevault dungeon, testing their character builds and skills through multi-phase battles.

This update also adds a full row of talents and visual progression indicators, while raising the level cap for the demo. The loot system has been reworked, allowing equipment to form sets, and the Abyss system has been adjusted.

Developed by Swiss indie studio IceCrack Games and published by Arc Games, Sil and the Realm of Fading transforms classic MMO-style large-scale raid boss battles into a solo action RPG experience that requires no partying or queueing. The game features 9 class specializations, over 200 skill tree nodes, and more than 100 unique items, emphasizing third-person melee combat, multi-phase boss fights, and build combinations.

The expanded demo is available for free during the Steam Next Fest. New players can experience the core combat, while those who have previously played the demo can try out the new dungeons, systems, and progression content.
