A tribute to classic fighting and arcade games, injecting roguelike mechanics into one-on-one combat
Montreal-based indie studio HeartLoop Games announces that its debut title, the single-player roguelike fighting game Poly Fighter, is now available in Early Access on Steam.
The game is priced at 68 CNY, with a 10% launch discount bringing it down to 61.2 CNY. Chinese language support is included.

Inspired by classic fighting and arcade games, Poly Fighter combines the fast-paced action of one-on-one brawls with the unpredictable progression and build variety of roguelikes. Players will compete in a fierce underground tournament, defeating opponents to steal their moves, then freely combining different abilities to create a unique fighter for each run, discovering unexpected combos and tactical synergies.
As the game launches into Early Access, HeartLoop Games invites players to step into Heartville, challenge various fighting masters, and participate in the ongoing development process to help shape the future of Poly Fighter.
Creative Director Osama Dorias stated: "From the very beginning, Poly Fighter has been a passion project for us, and we are thrilled that players can finally experience it firsthand. With this game, we aim to pay homage to the fighting and arcade classics that grew up with us, while adding roguelike elements to let players experiment with a wide variety of builds. Early Access is the next step in this journey, and we can't wait to see how everyone plays."
