Neos has announced that Book of Creation: Origins will launch on Steam on October 28, 2026. Blending board game and deck-building mechanics, this is the first new entry in the Card Summoner series in 10 years.
The Switch and Switch 2 versions were released earlier on July 16, with cumulative shipments (including digital downloads) surpassing 100,000 copies. The Steam version will add three battle maps—"X," "Wealth Array," and "Holy Hammer"—along with 10 new deck covers, including creature-themed and map-themed designs selected by the development team.
The card catalog will feature voiceovers for card names, covering creatures, spells, and more. The battle interface will also improve character position visibility in map mode and clearly indicate directions at path forks. These additions and improvements will be provided to Switch and Switch 2 players via a free update, with the release date to be announced. During the Steam Next Fest, players can try out the new map "X" in the demo version.
Purchase the Steam version between October 28 and December 27 to receive the Early Purchase DLC for free, which includes Zenith (usable as a CPU opponent or player avatar), the manga protagonist Najaran, and two deck covers.
