The production team behind "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" has already begun moving forward with animated Seasons 3 and 4. Season 2 is confirmed to launch on Disney+ on January 13, 2027, continuing the story left off in Season 1.
Producer Jeff Trammell has confirmed progress on the next two seasons. Starting work early could shorten the wait between seasons, though no specific release windows have been set for Seasons 3 and 4 yet.
Season 2 will pick up following the unexpected return of Richard Parker. Trammell stated that Nico Minoru will play a major role in the new season; Eddie Brock is confirmed to be voiced by Josh Keaton, and Norman Osborn will also take noteworthy actions. Characters such as Venom, Doctor Octopus, and Spider-Gwen will also appear in Season 2.
Current claims that the Green Goblin may take on a more significant role in Seasons 3 and 4 remain speculative and have not been confirmed by the production team. The series charts Peter Parker's journey to becoming a hero in a way that differs from previous screen adaptations, paying homage to early Spider-Man comics. Season 1 is now available on Disney+.
