Developed by the northern Swedish studio Windup Games and published globally by Knights Peak and Chinese publisher Boltray Games, the fairytale-style adventure title Hela: A Mouse's Tale invites all curious adventurers to try the newly released demo and step into the fantastical world of Hela: A Mouse's Tale for a short but wondrous journey.
In the Demo, players will explore a fantasy world inspired by northern Sweden, experience puzzle-solving gameplay, unlock various new abilities, and embark on an adventure full of surprises. The Hela: A Mouse's Tale demo is now available for a limited time on Windows PC via the Epic Games Store and Steam.
This demo is specially crafted for Hela: A Mouse's Tale, offering players a tailored introductory experience. Featuring a standalone map designed specifically for the demo, it allows players to appreciate the game's charming atmosphere, puzzle mechanics, exploration gameplay, and other interesting interactive content.
Players will explore a natural region inspired by northern Sweden, helping the witch restore the magic protecting the barrier and collecting enough Glimmer to find the way back to her home. Along this journey, players can freely explore, interact with physics-based environments, solve puzzles using the magic-infused Froggy Pack, discover hidden secrets, and lend a hand to the creatures they meet along the way.
The game supports single-player exploration and local split-screen co-op. Solo adventurers can also use the innovative "Shade System" to summon a magical duplicate of themselves, assisting in overcoming obstacles and tackling complex challenges.
Hela: A Mouse's Tale will officially launch on December 1, 2026. The PC digital version will be available on the Epic Games Store and Steam.
