Stellaris player Mobile_Frosting_7936 stacked multiple mechanics to continuously boost a star in the Cybrex Beta system. Its base energy resource was increased to 300, and after building a Dyson Swarm, the monthly energy output reached 10,000.
The core of this experiment is the "Prospector" relic obtained after defeating ancient mining drones. This relic adds resources to random celestial bodies three times over 1,500 days. By adopting a nomadic playstyle, the player ensured the relic targeted the star system containing their capital Ark; since Cybrex Beta has no other celestial bodies besides its star, the effect repeatedly landed on the same target, adding 5 to 9 energy each time.
The Ark's "Star Ignition" ability adds resources once more, and Deep Scans also have a chance to add new resources. The player stated that after one Star Ignition, three Deep Scans, and four relic triggers early on, the star's output reached 128. Subsequently, they triggered the relic over ten more times and performed around 200 Deep Scans, with the majority of the increase still coming from the relic.
The Dyson Swarm ultimately amplified the 300 base energy to 10,000, whereas a standard Dyson Sphere provides a fixed 4,000 energy. Replicating this build requires the Stellaris: Ancient Relics Story Pack, significant playtime, and a suitable star system. The player also acknowledged its limited practicality, noting it was mainly for role-playing as the "Cosmic Genesis" ascension path; this is a player experiment, not an official balance adjustment.
