Shrek 2: Remastered has been confirmed to launch on PS5 on November 10, published by Aspyr for $29.99. The game supports local and online co-op and will feature a new photo mode.
The title was previously leaked due to an early listing on the Xbox store. The original version was released in 2004 on platforms such as the PS2, serving as a co-op action game based on the movie Shrek 2, more than two decades after its initial release.
The remastered version will feature improved graphics. Previously disclosed store information also listed better textures, an enhanced user interface, 4K resolution, remastered cutscenes, and new unlockable cheat features.
The co-op mode supports up to four players, allowing teams to form via local, online, or mixed methods. The remaster is being handled by Aspyr, which has long been involved in porting and remastering classic games.
