The demo for "Brothers in Arms: Ocean Thieves," a 2D co-op physics action game developed by Crossbridge Game Studios and published by polden, is now live on Steam. Team up with up to 4 players as a squad of fully armed Dog.exe divers, plunging into a corroded ocean to gun down mutated sea creatures, scavenge underwater treasures, and hand-deliver loot back to your shared submarine. After returning to the surface, use each trip's haul to rebuild your destroyed beach base, attracting new NPCs who bring new weapons, cosmetics, submarine models, and upgrades.
The deeper you dive, the darker the ocean becomes and the more absurd the monsters get. The shallow seas are colorful and nearly harmless; with each ecological zone you descend, the water grows murkier and the creatures more grotesque, until a full boss battle awaits you in the deep sea. The submarine is your vehicle and your only shelter from the horrors of the deep. Pilot it together with your crew, upgrading as you go deeper.
Key Features
Salvage by hand: Hook loot with a harpoon, reel it in, and drag it across entire levels to stuff it into the submarine. Weight and inertia make every large salvage operation a strenuous team effort.
Big guns vs. weird fish: Use AKs, shotguns, and gatling guns to fight off hordes of滑稽 sea monsters. The deeper you go, the more terrifying their mutations become.
