The Steam wishlist count for the sci-fi action RPG The Great Displacement has approached one million. Hasbro has also confirmed that the game will see new information drops in December, though it has not specified whether these will include trailers, gameplay details, or other content.
The Great Displacement has been described as a spiritual successor to Mass Effect and has already garnered some attention. However, wishlist numbers only reflect player interest and cannot directly predict future sales; subsequent demo content will still influence external expectations.
Based on the current schedule, The Game Awards could serve as a venue for The Great Displacement to showcase new content, but this has not been officially confirmed. It remains undecided whether December's reveal will feature entirely new announcements or a consolidated presentation of existing information.
Hasbro also plans to hold multiple preview events for media and industry professionals before the game's launch, similar in format to those held in late summer. This means December is not the only window for information before release.
The Great Displacement is currently scheduled for release on April 7, 2027.
