Nintendo Switch Online has updated its Super Mario-themed avatar lineup, with a batch of previously released icons now available for redemption again. This redemption period will end on October 26, 2026.
The avatar assets in this rotation come from Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Super Mario 3D World, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Super Mario Odyssey, as part of the Nintendo Switch Online icon reward system. The related announcement also used both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 tags.
The list of characters, backgrounds, and frames for each avatar has not yet been announced, nor have the Platinum Point costs, membership tier requirements, or any regional differences been specified. This change only applies to limited-time digital rewards and does not constitute content updates for the aforementioned games.
As avatars may rotate in batches and regional pages may vary, users can check the actual lineup, remaining time, and point requirements for their account's region in the Nintendo Switch Online app on their console before redeeming. All icons in this round are re-releases, not new designs making their debut.
