Pokémon GO will launch its new GO Pass season on November 3rd at 10:00 AM local time. Players can automatically participate in the free tier and unlock rewards as they progress, which includes 400 PokéCoins; purchasing the Deluxe Edition and completing the corresponding progress will grant an additional 1,000 PokéCoins, for a total of up to 1,400 PokéCoins for the entire season.
According to information released by Scopely Explore, the Deluxe Edition will be priced at $7.99 in November and cannot be purchased with PokéCoins. Based on the exchange rate of approximately 100 PokéCoins to $1, collecting the full 1,000 PokéCoins from the Deluxe tier yields a value higher than the pass price itself. These PokéCoins can be used for Remote Raid Passes, Trainer outfits, and expanding Item or Pokémon storage.
Following several months of encounters with Latias, Latios, and Kyogre, Groudon will be the final reward for this season's Pass, with players also having the chance to encounter its shiny green variant. Other rewards include Stardust, Rare Candy XL, and Lucky Eggs, while the Deluxe tier will offer special encounters and Super Incubators.
This season's Pass will end on December 1st at 10:00 AM local time, coinciding with the conclusion of the "Twilight Trails" season. The remaining events in October will continue the Halloween theme, featuring new and returning costume Pokémon, Ghost-type Pokémon, and the debut of Mega Chandelure on Halloween day; the theme for the next season has not yet been announced.
