"We Were Here: Tomorrow's Trail," a two-player cooperative puzzle-adventure game from Total Mayhem Games, was released on October 21 for Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The new title continues the series' two-player cooperative format.
During exploration, the two players may be separated by traps, unable to directly see each other's surroundings. They can only describe clues and verify information via walkie-talkies to jointly solve the puzzles blocking their path.
The game is set in Antarctica. Two characters arrive to rescue a companion but accidentally become trapped beneath the ice, entering a research facility filled with suspicious machinery. The Facilty is controlled by Catherine Bao, whose team vanished midway through a study they were just one step away from completing.
Players must take over the team's unfinished research and gradually uncover the hidden conspiracy as they delve deeper into The Facilty. Steam currently offers a 10% launch discount.
