Publisher Lyrical Games revealed on social media that Immortal Legacy has officially become profitable for both developer One More Level and publisher Lyrical Games. The game broke even just one week after launch, meaning all development costs have been recouped. From this point forward, Immortal Legacy is generating profit.
"We are incredibly proud to announce that Immortal Legacy officially broke even in just seven days. This incredible milestone would not have been possible without your support. Thank you for answering the Emperor's call and believing in our vision!"
It's worth noting that the developers deliberately chose not to open pre-orders for the game. They wanted the final product to speak for itself, allowing players to decide whether it was worth the $40 price tag. Clearly, many players believe it offers great value.
Foreign media outlet Push Square gave the PS5 version of Immortal Legacy a positive review with a score of 8/10: "With its robust combat system and impressive level design, it's well worth your time and money, especially considering its affordable price."
One More Level has confirmed that an expansion pack for Immortal Legacy will be released sometime in 2027, so there's still plenty more content to look forward to in this excellent new IP.
