The first TV commercial for GTA 6 has aired on NBC Sports. The ad only displays the PlayStation logo, with no mention of the Xbox platform in the main visuals or the legal text at the end.

This advertisement largely follows the content of the recent launch trailer, but has been trimmed for television broadcast, removing the shower scene and some of the more violent footage. The platform information continues the recent promotional approach: the launch trailer opens with the PlayStation logo, and the Xbox is also absent from the end.
Rockstar and Sony have previously engaged in close promotion for this title. Around the time pre-orders opened, both parties used marketing language stating that the game offers the "best experience" on PlayStation. Viewers familiar with gaming news might interpret these arrangements as exclusive marketing campaigns, but general TV audiences unaware of the Xbox version could mistakenly believe the game is a PS5 exclusive.
However, the second trailer for GTA 6 did list Xbox at the end, indicating that omitting the platform is not a consistent approach used in all previous promotions. There is currently no information indicating whether this arrangement is part of a marketing partnership agreement, and Rockstar, Sony, and Microsoft have not provided an official explanation.
