Nintendo has announced the digital pre-order bonuses for the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Players who pre-order the digital version and complete their purchase before 11:59 PM PT on November 23 will receive a digital wallpaper celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda series.
This wallpaper set features the series' 40th-anniversary logo at its center, with a background composed of scenes from multiple classic titles, and is available in different formats for computer desktops and mobile phones. After the event ends, download information will be sent to the email address associated with the Nintendo Account of eligible players.
Other rewards currently available across various regions and retail channels include a textured foil physical edition cover, a slipcase based on the original design, a replica of the Spirit Stone, a replica of the original Nintendo 64 packaging, as well as keychains, coasters, wallets, badges, cards, and coins. Specific contents depend on the player's region and purchase channel.
Currently, the only rewards announced for the US market are the foil cover for the first print run of the physical edition and this digital wallpaper, with no other special gifts revealed so far. Early review impressions of the remake have been largely positive, and newly released footage shows a significant visual improvement over the original Nintendo 64 version.
