Bethesda has once again partnered with Jones Soda, inviting players to vote on the flavor for the next Nuka-Cola Twist beverage. The candidate with the highest number of votes among the three options will be produced as a real-world Jones Soda drink.
Rather than directly replicating the established Nuka-Cola flavors from the game, this collaboration offers three brand-new choices: Strawberry Lemonade, Watermelon Dragon Fruit, and Pink Bubblegum. Players can currently visit the Jones Soda website to participate in the public vote.
The winning flavor may also appear in future Fallout games, but such plans have not been confirmed. What is certain is that player votes will directly determine which real-world product goes into production.
This event is one of Bethesda's celebrations for Fallout Day on October 23, the date corresponding to the day nuclear bombs fell and the apocalypse occurred in the series' fictional world. Other announcements made earlier in the week include various giveaways, a new social media account for Fallout 76, and new Verified Creations content for Fallout 4.
One of the newly revealed dungeons in Fallout 4 features flashbacks of the player's deceased spouse and includes new dialogue recorded by the original voice actors for Nate and Nora. As for the Nuka-Cola Twist collaboration, the final mass-produced flavor will still be determined by the top-voted option in this public vote.
