Paweł Sasko, a senior developer at CD Projekt Red, stated that the first two Baldur's Gate games shaped his imagination and inspired his desire to make games. Michał Nowakowski, Co-CEO of CDPR, recalled that the two companies first met in the early days when CDPR handled localization and sales for Baldur's Gate in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia.

Afterward, BioWare provided engine support, shared expertise, and offered an E3 booth for the original The Witcher. Brian Fargo, head of inXile; Ed Boon, creator of the Mortal Kombat series; and Thomas Puha, Communications Director at Remedy, also expressed their regret over the studio's closure.

Del Walker, an artist who worked on The Last of Us Part II Remastered and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, believes the closure is the result of years of commercial failures, management issues, and accumulated pressure, noting this is his personal opinion. Sam Hulick, composer for the original Mass Effect, along with several former employees, focused their attention on the future employment of those affected.
