Newegg launched a limited-time discount on digital gift cards on the day of the announcement, allowing players to save $10–$11 when pre-ordering the console version of GTA 6. This is not a direct price cut from game stores; the discount only applies when purchasing gift cards and entering the specified promo code.
During the event, a $100 PlayStation Store digital gift card is priced at $89 with checkout code GTWF822; a $100 Xbox digital gift card is priced at $90 with code GTWF792. Upon successful purchase, redemption codes will be sent via email, allowing players to add the balance to their respective platform accounts for pre-orders.
GTA 6 Ultimate Edition is priced at $99.99 on both PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, meaning PS5 players save $11 and Xbox players save $10. The Standard Edition costs $79.99 and includes the base game, the Vintage Vice City Pack, and one month of GTA+; the Ultimate Edition adds premium vehicles, weapons, outfits, and extra content spanning Jason and Lucia's story.
The game can be pre-loaded starting November 12, with the single-player campaign launching first upon release; Rockstar has not yet announced the launch date for GTA Online. Newegg previously held similar one-day gift card promotions roughly every one to two weeks, but there is no guarantee this offer will return after it ends.
