Hello everyone:
The Elder Scrolls Online's second season, "Skyrim Reborn," has launched today on PC/Mac, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles. Season Two will run until January 27, 2027.
To kick off The Elder Scrolls Online's first Skyrim-themed season, the classic "Greymoor" chapter is now free for all players, and the "Markarth" DLC will be available for free on November 9. Season Two will continue to deliver a rich array of content updates, headlined by the introduction of solo dungeons in The Elder Scrolls Online, available to play today.
In January, players will enjoy expanded companion customization options along with a series of highly requested quality-of-life improvements, such as an increased furnishing limit for player homes and the introduction of the first-ever mini-map interface in The Elder Scrolls Online. All seasonal content for The Elder Scrolls Online will be freely accessible to all players.
Starting today, all players can enjoy the solo dungeons and the "Greymoor" chapter for free
The Elder Scrolls Online's second season has officially kicked off, bringing a major feature long anticipated by the community: solo dungeons. For players who prefer a single-player experience, solo dungeons allow them to tackle some of The Elder Scrolls Online's most challenging and engaging content at their own pace, without needing to form a group. At launch, players can venture alone into two popular Tamrielic dungeons: Moon Hunter Keep and Cradle of Shadows. To celebrate, these two original group dungeons, previously exclusive to owners of the Wolfhunter DLC or ESO Plus members, were made free for all The Elder Scrolls Online players earlier this month.
The "Greymoor" chapter is now also available for free to all The Elder Scrolls Online players. The Western Skyrim zone features an exciting storyline that explores the dark heart of Skyrim, the renowned city of Solitude, and other classic locations from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, such as Blackreach, Morthal, and Dragon Bridge. Soon, this November, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will celebrate its 15th anniversary, making now the perfect time for players to revisit this legendary land of Tamriel.
The "Markarth" DLC and companion customization features will launch with Season Two
On November 9, the "Markarth" DLC will become free for all players, bringing even more Skyrim content at no cost. Additionally, players can participate in a Skyrim-themed Classic Pursuit event to explore the icy northern reaches of Tamriel and earn various rewards.
As Season Two draws to a close, players will be able to further customize their companions by changing their helmets, hairstyles, facial decorations, and more. Two major quality-of-life improvements will also be introduced, including the first-ever mini-map interface in The Elder Scrolls Online and an increased limit on furnishings for large homes in Tamriel. In January, we will also launch a Void Vault-themed Classic Pursuit event, offering extra rewards for players who brave the brain-teasing puzzles of the U51 update.
Finally, Season Two will also feature fan-favorite classic events, including the already-live Witches Festival, the Whitestrake's Mayhem PvP event starting in November, and the New Life Festival beginning in December.
