Bandai Namco has further clarified the release schedule for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, with this multiplayer action game now slated for release in the second half of 2027. Compared to the previous confirmation of just a 2027 release window, this new timeframe is narrower, but the specific quarter, month, and date have not yet been announced.
Producer Shinnosuke Hirano, after introducing combat customization and PvE missions, stated that the team has been continuously releasing new information over the past few months and has received player feedback and survey results. The development team has discussed these opinions and has publicly outlined some areas planned for improvement.
Shinnosuke Hirano stated that the Dragon Ball: Xenoverse series was shaped jointly by the development team and players before release, and its long-term operation after launch also relies on interaction between both parties. To fully realize the initial launch experience as well as the content planned for subsequent operations and support, the team has decided to schedule the game's release for the second half of 2027.
It may still be some time before the team shares their next update. Shinnosuke Hirano stated that the development team will strive to make 2027 a year worth looking forward to for Dragon Ball gamers.
