McDonald's China launched the French fry-shaped wireless mouse on October 22, with sales lasting only until October 23. A limited quantity of 2,000 sets was available daily starting at 10:45 AM, totaling 4,000 sets over the two days, purchasable through channels such as the online store within the official app.
This wireless mouse was jointly developed by McDonald's China and Lenovo Group, with its design inspired by McDonald's French fries, playing on the pun between "shu" (potato) and "shu" (mouse). The set also includes a multi-functional storage bag that can be unfolded to serve as a mouse pad.
The product uses recycled materials from discarded #Funtime toys. McDonald's China has been implementing a waste material reuse program since 2021, and during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, some stores in cities like Beijing and Shanghai even set up toy recycling bins.
