Blizzard has announced an extension of the World of Warcraft: Infinite Beta test until Friday, October 23, granting participants several extra days of testing. Associate Game Director Clayton Stone revealed this schedule, with server stress tests also taking place during this period.
The current Beta test allows players to level their characters from 1 to 30. During the stress test, players without regular Beta access can also connect to the servers, enabling the development team to assess the infrastructure's load capacity before the official launch.
With the originally scheduled end time approaching, many players had already posted farewells to their test characters or pets. One player took a screenshot of their Gnome character sitting by the Stormwind Harbor docks as a memento, while another Hunter player made their character cry and release their spider pet.
Hunter pets can taunt enemies, deal damage, and level up alongside their owners, which is why farewell posts about them have resonated strongly within the community. These posts reflect individual players' testing experiences only. World of Warcraft: Infinite is currently scheduled for its official launch on November 4, but the exact date, availability, and launch details remain subject to Blizzard's announcements.
