The familiar We Were Here-style two-player co-op adventure returns, but this time, Everythinggj seems a bit different. Some mysteries await to be solved, while other secrets prefer to remain undiscovered.
In We Were Here: Tomorrow, two players awaken within the mysterious Norček Industries facility, only to find themselves separated in different areas. The environments they see, the clues they hold, and the events they experience are all different. To progress, players must maintain communication via walkie-talkies, share the information they discover, and work together to solve puzzles one by one.
This installment brings the series into a retro-futuristic setting inspired by the imagined future of the 1980s. Within the mysterious Norček Industries facility lie strange technologies, failed experiments, missing researchers, and countless secrets waiting for players to uncover. Compared to previous entries, this game further enhances the asymmetric co-op mechanics. Two players will assume different roles, each with unique tools and abilities. The puzzles in the game revolve around elements such as time, gravity, and space. Since neither side has complete information, only through thorough communication,
Only through mutual trust can you find the way to solve the puzzles.
The story of We Were Here: Tomorrow is written by award-winning author Claire North and features voice acting from several renowned actors, including the highly acclaimed British actress Sophie Okonedo, as well as Connor Colquhoun (Cdawg), Boris Hiestand, and Elena Saurel.
Martín Mittner, Creative Director at Total Mayhem Games, and the development team aimed to deliver a bolder and fresher adventure experience while maintaining the core charm of the We Were Here series. Therefore, this installment not only brings richer narrative content but also adds more NPCs for players to interact and communicate with, giving the adventure world greater depth and vitality. But no matter how the story and world change,
The We Were Here series has always revolved around an unchanging core: two people overcoming challenges together through communication and cooperation.
Since the release of the first We Were Here in 2017, the series has evolved over nearly a decade. With its unique two-player asymmetric co-op puzzle gameplay, the We Were Here series has won the love of players worldwide, attracting over 25 million players and receiving numerous game awards. Now, with the official release of We Were Here: Tomorrow, Total Mayhem Games will lead players into a new world, exploring unprecedented mysteries and facing a series of new challenges.
Additionally, the game supports cross-platform play between Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S from day one, allowing players on different platforms to embark on this co-op adventure with friends.
