AMD released the WHQL-certified AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.10.1 driver on October 20 (US time). The new version expands the applicability of the machine learning-based FSR Upscaling 4.1, which is now supported by the Radeon RX 6000 series and some Ryzen AI integrated graphics.
Supported integrated graphics come from the Ryzen AI Max 400/300 and Ryzen AI 9 400/300 series. The RX 6000 series was originally scheduled to receive support in January 2027, but this release significantly advances that timeline; AMD had not previously made a clear commitment to provide this feature for integrated graphics.
The 26.10.1 driver simultaneously supports Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Star Wars: Galactic Racing, and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and fixes stuttering issues that may occur when running Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III on RX 6000 series and newer GPUs.
The new version still has several known issues. RX 9000 series GPUs may hang when running Death Stranding 2: On the Beach with FSR enabled, Cyberpunk 2077 may crash or experience driver timeouts under specific conditions, and some Ryzen AI Max PRO 400 devices may encounter a black screen when launching Fallout 76. Users should verify their hardware configuration and review relevant workarounds before installation.
