Shochiku Games announced that the crowdfunding for "Sakura Phantom Pavilion," a 3D roguelike action game developed by the indie team Denneko Yuugi, has reached 1 million yen, equivalent to 200% of its original goal. The project is now open to participants outside Japan, allowing overseas supporters to obtain limited rewards.
This crowdfunding campaign launched on CAMPFIRE on September 30, 2026, and will run until November 19. The funds raised will be used for the production and delivery of reward items, platform fees, and project operations. To commemorate reaching 200% of the funding goal, the official team has also started offering a free social media profile frame themed around the protagonist Retora and the game's worldview.
The project accepts support from regions outside Japan through international payment and forwarding services. Current rewards include Steam activation keys, having supporters' names listed in the game credits, and original merchandise themed around Retora.
"Sakura Phantom Pavilion" is scheduled to launch on PC and Switch on November 5. Players will control Retora, a cat-eared girl wielding dual swords, as she enters the ever-changing phantom pavilion in the Far Eastern country of "Oran," challenging dungeons and uncovering their secrets while searching for divine relics.
