Activision Blizzard Japan has revealed the launch multiplayer content for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. The game launches today (October 23) on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2, offering twelve 6v6 maps, three 32v32 maps, and more than 12 multiplayer modes at launch.
The revealed 6v6 maps include "Cachet," "Coal," and "Lotus." These three maps are set in an abandoned wine warehouse and dilapidated auto repair shop, the ruins of an old Soviet coal processing facility, and a Korean fishing village raided by amphibious forces, respectively.
There are three maps for the large-scale 32v32 battles: "Imjin Farmland," located in the rural outskirts of Hajin; "Wolves Stadium," a densely built-up area in downtown Hajin; and "Forest," a hilly region covered in trees.
The launch includes over 12 multiplayer modes, featuring new modes such as "Inflation," "Hijack," "Collateral," and "Combat Outpost." The series' classic small map "Shipment" is scheduled to return on October 27 and is not included among the twelve 6v6 maps available at launch on October 23.
