Rebel Wolves has released the 1.1 update for Blood of Dawnwalkers. This is the first major update since the game's launch, focusing on improving performance, stability, and ease of use, as well as adjusting combat and difficulty settings.
The development team had previously prioritized increasing console frame rates based on player feedback. This update also includes hundreds of smaller adjustments, covering bug fixes, crash reductions, and overall stability improvements.
In terms of combat, version 1.1 improves target locking and action animations, relaxes camera restrictions, and makes it easier for players to disengage from combat. The health of wolves and boars has also been reduced to address the issue of these enemies being too durable in the late game. The original "Story" mode has been renamed to "Lenient," while the new "Story" mode offers more combat assistance to reduce operational pressure.
The update also adds the "Daught of Mind Rebirth" potion, which resets your skill tree and reallocates previously invested time and skill points, making it easier for players to change their character builds. Additionally, the game now supports larger subtitles and petting cats and dogs, and the responsiveness of the Shadowstep and Planeshift systems has been improved.
