According to the latest data released by Alinea Analytics, total sales of Baldur's Gate 3 across all platforms have reached approximately 23.2 million. The vast majority of these sales come from Steam, accounting for around 18.7 million copies.
Released in August 2023, this role-playing game developed by Larian Studios quickly became one of the hottest titles in the industry. By last September, its sales had surpassed 15 million copies. More than a year later, sales continue to grow strongly, setting new milestones once again.
According to the latest data from Alinea Analytics, Baldur's Gate 3 has sold approximately 23.2 million copies across all platforms, generating over $1.2 billion in revenue. Steam leads significantly with around 18.7 million copies sold, accounting for 80.6% of total sales. The PS5 platform follows with 2.9 million copies, while Xbox accounts for 1.6 million.
Despite being released for over three years, the game continues to attract millions of players. Data shows that its monthly active player count across all platforms has never dropped below 2 million. Last month alone, Baldur's Gate 3 reached approximately 2.2 million monthly active users, with Steam once again holding the largest share.
Reportedly, this role-playing game still attracts between 280,000 and 400,000 players daily. Alinea Analytics also noted that 1% of its player base (nearly 200,000 people) have spent over 500 hours playing Baldur's Gate 3.
