On October 23, Aggro Crab announced that PEAK, a cooperative climbing game developed in collaboration with Landfall, has officially launched on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2. All three console versions include all content added since the Steam release and support cross-platform play across all platforms.
Players take on the role of disoriented members of a nature expedition, climbing the towering mountain at the island's center to escape the mysterious island. The game supports up to four-player co-op and features in-game proximity voice chat; players can tackle the challenge solo, but the difficulty will increase accordingly.
The ascent route is divided into four biomes, each with distinct terrain and environments, and every area presents deadly dangers. Teams need to find mysterious food to alleviate hunger, care for injured companions, and avoid consecutive mistakes that drain stamina. Along the way, players can also find energy drinks and special survival items suited for steep slopes.
During cooperative climbs, players can pull their companions up, set up ropes, or drive in pitons to create footholds. The island's terrain changes every 24 hours, with the map updating daily; players can also repeatedly challenge the same island until they successfully reach the summit.
