According to the steps introduced by Rob2628, after a duplicate fragment appears, the friend needs to stay near the drop location. The player holding the same type of fragment exits the current character, switches to an alternate character that does not yet hold the fragment and can enter Torment difficulty 10, then accepts the friend's invitation to return to the original server to pick it up.
This method utilizes a friend to keep the instance active, preventing loot from disappearing with the instance when the main character logs out. During the process, the friend must also decline prompts to return to their own world, and the order of character switching and invitations must be correct.
This method requires cooperation from another player with the corresponding progress, and also requires an alternate character capable of entering Torment difficulty 10. The article's author has not personally tested this method, as only one of their characters meets the difficulty requirements; it is currently a workaround proposed by community creators, not an official solution announced by Blizzard.
