Sucker Punch Productions has released update version 2.008 for Ghost of Yōtei, also labeled as version 02.008.000. This is a small patch, but it must be installed regardless of whether players own the full version.
This update reduces the number of Viper Rations required to purchase dye merchant trade routes, lowering related resource costs. The patch also fixes an issue where some recipes would not remain unlocked in New Game+, and addresses potential soft locks in certain "Echoes of Sekigahara" missions.
Progression and stability are also key focuses of this fix. Version 2.008 further addresses the issue of lost progress in "Most Wanted" missions, while fixing other bugs and crashes.
The earlier 2.07 patch released this month also corrected issues with lost or blocked progress in "Most Wanted" missions, and resolved problems such as getting stuck on a black screen after completing certain "Echoes of Sekigahara" missions or content not being marked as completed. Version 2.008 continues to improve progression and stability on this basis, without adding major new content.
