Wildpad Games has confirmed that the Steam version of "Chloia: Child of the Forest" is currently scheduled for release in January 2027. PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch versions are still planned for release within 2027, but it remains uncertain whether they will launch simultaneously with the PC version.
The studio announced the above arrangements while the game was participating in the Galaxies Autumn event. The Switch port has been handed over to a third-party partner, while specific plans for the PlayStation and Xbox versions are still in progress. More details will be disclosed as further developments occur.
To accelerate launch preparations, Wildpad Games has also brought in external professionals, allowing the team to focus on refining and polishing the game. The announced January 2027 window is only an approximate release timeframe for the Steam version, not a precise date.
"Chloia: Child of the Forest" is an action role-playing game. The protagonist, Chloia, will use a sword and a spirit bow to attempt to save a once-lush forest from a terrible curse. The game features fast-paced combat, puzzles, and hand-drawn pixel art.
