HoYoverse has announced that Genshin Impact Version 7.2, "Moment of Destruction," will launch on November 4. The new update will advance the Archon Quests, expand the Snezhnaya region, and introduce two new Electro characters: Mija and Valery.
The main storyline revolves around a mysterious disaster threatening civilization. The seven nations of Teyvat will unite to address the crisis, with players collaborating with the gods of each nation, Neuvillette, and other allies to try and contain the situation. Upon completing the new Archon Quests, players can receive rewards such as Primogems and character ascension materials.
The exploration scope will extend further into the Snezhnaya region, unlocking locations such as the underground city of Novokitezhgrad, Wingspan Peak, and Old Kitezhgrad. Players must track down and destroy contaminated crystal deposits, thereby uncovering more background information about Snezhnaya. The new areas also include challenges, quests, and a massive underwater combat creature.
Regarding characters, the five-star Electro catalyst user Mija will debut in Version 7.2; the four-star Electro character Valery wields a sword and holds the rank of Major in the Armory Palace. "Moment of Destruction" will also feature a limited-time co-op crisis event, allowing participants to earn free Primogems and other exclusive rewards.
