According to YouTuber TGG, GTA 6 will introduce a "Criminal Profiling" system as a new honor mechanic, replacing the previous one. The efficiency of your crimes will impact gameplay.
After watching a 3-hour gameplay demo at Rockstar North, YouTuber TGG revealed that players can boost their criminal profile by being a "good criminal," meaning efficiently completing criminal tasks while avoiding collateral damage.
In GTA 6, if you rob stores quickly without killing anyone, your criminal record will improve, rather than by helping others or avoiding crime. Rockstar understands that no one wants to play the good guy in GTA, so they've tied the game's honor system to criminal activity.
If players engage in excessive killing or act cruelly in GTA 6, their criminal rank will drop. Rob Nelson, co-head of the studio, told TGG that your criminal rank could drop so low that the icon shatters, meaning it can no longer be increased for the rest of the game.
GTA 6's map is twice the size of GTA V's, featuring over 600,000 animations, making it the most in-depth sandbox game Rockstar has ever created.
