Today, One More Level, the development team behind Ghostrunner, officially announced that their new title, Valor Mortis, has gone gold, meaning that the main development work is complete. The team thanked players for their support and stated that they are now fully focused on preparing for launch.
Valor Mortis is a rare first-person Soulslike game. Players take on the role of a soldier who died during the Napoleonic Wars, resurrected to fight against an undead army. The game cleverly blends fast-paced FPS mechanics with the hardcore difficulty and challenge characteristic of Soulslike games.
The game will be officially released on October 13, 2026, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
