Ning Yizhuo made her first public appearance in 2016 as a member of SMROOKIES. On November 17, 2020, she officially debuted with the group aespa, releasing their debut single "Black Mamba." Since then, they have released multiple singles and albums, winning numerous awards including the Circle Chart Music Awards, Seoul Music Awards, and Mnet Asian Music Awards.
