Pre-stage Equipment:
Give attack-boosting items to A-Qiang (Ranged), and HP items to Fat Meow.
Fully upgrade the three slots of the Main Base to LV0. The only useful items are "Meow Mines" and "Rolling Logs"; others aren't very helpful. Spend all remaining gold on upgrading the Dried Fish Factory, as insufficient funds are the biggest early-game bottleneck.
[Stage 11]
Wave ①
Start by placing mines as per standard strategy. Once the enemy's 5 cats are out, use Rolling Logs for a full-map strike.
Then finish with 1 Fat Meow + 2 A-Qiang (Ranged).
Wave ②
Wait until your cats die and the enemy cats approach your base. Then deploy 1 Fat Meow, and spend all energy on A-Qiang (Ranged) to finish.
Wave ③
Keep summoning A-Qiang (Ranged) to end the battle.
[Stage 12]
You've obtained the new shooter "Ugi," so transfer A-Qiang's equipment to "Ugi," and use remaining gold to upgrade the Dried Fish Factory.
Wave ①
Start by placing mines as per standard strategy. Once the enemy's 5 cats are out, use Rolling Logs for a full-map strike.
Then finish with 1 Fat Meow + Ugi.
Waves ② + ③
Just keep summoning Ugi to win the battle.
[Stage 13]
Wave ①
Start by placing mines as per standard strategy. Once the enemy's 3 cats are out, use Rolling Logs for a full-map strike.
Then finish with 1 Fat Meow + Ugi.
Waves ② + ③
Just keep summoning Ugi to win the battle.
Here's a fun fact: although Big Orange Cat recovers half its health before dying, Ugi's basic attacks cause stun, so there's a chance to interrupt the healing animation.
[Stage 14]
Every two stages, check if the Dried Fish Factory can be upgraded, as having more funds makes battles smoother. Also, since you can now use Big Orange Cat, move the HP items from Fat Meow to it.
Wave ①
Start by placing mines as per standard strategy. Once Big Orange Cat is deployed, use Rolling Logs for a full-map strike.
Then finish with 1 Big Orange Cat + 2 Ugis. Wait a bit for energy for the second Ugi to speed up the fight.
Waves ② + ③ + ④ + ⑤
Although Stage 14 has 5 waves, if your Dried Fish Factory is sufficient, you can keep summoning Ugi to push through by the fourth wave. You might be used to finishing battles in the last wave, but the game only checks if the enemy crystal is destroyed. So if you have the strength to push through early, you can end the battle ahead of schedule.
Of course, there is one issue: clearing Stage 14 fully yields 107 gold, which is quite generous. If you're aiming for the gold reward, you can take your time, such as waiting until the enemy reaches your base or all your units are dead before deploying Ugi.
[Stage 15]
The previous stage dropped Steel Claws; equip them on Ugi.
Wave ①
This stage features the ninja cat "Zhengzhu," who ignores the first unit like a pole-vaulting zombie. However, the strategy remains standard: place mines, wait for Ugi to deploy, then use Rolling Logs. Since mines count as units, Zhengzhu will waste his teleport jumping over them. Finish with Big Orange Cat + Ugi.
Waves ② + ③
Just keep summoning Ugi to end the battle.
[Stage 16]
Wave ①
Place mines as per standard strategy. Once Ugi is deployed, use Rolling Logs, then finish with Big Orange Cat + Ugi.
Waves ② + ③
Still just keep summoning Ugi to end the battle. However, for the second wave, it's recommended to wait until Zhengzhu teleports before deploying Ugi, otherwise he might easily break through the backline.
[Stage 17]
Check if the Dried Fish Factory can be upgraded.
Wave ①
Place mines as per standard strategy. Once Ugi is deployed, use Rolling Logs, then finish with Big Orange Cat + Ugi.
Wave ②
The second wave has 3 Ugis on the enemy side, so pushing hard won't work. Wait for the enemy to get close to your base, then finish with Big Orange Cat + multiple Ugis.
Wave ③
Keep summoning Ugi and remember to use Rolling Logs to end the battle.
[Stage 18]
Wave ①
Place mines as per standard strategy. Once Ugi is deployed, use Rolling Logs, then finish with 2 Big Orange Cats. Since Zhengzhu is present, Ugi is not suitable.
Wave ②
Zhengzhu is still present in the second wave. Wait until Zhengzhu passes the two Big Orange Cats, then deploy 1 Big Orange Cat + a bunch of Ugis to counter-push.
Wave ③
Keep summoning Ugi to end the battle.
[Stage 19]
This stage is a bit difficult; you can give Steel Claws to Xiao Fu.
Wave ①
Start with the standard mine-laying strategy. Wait for Akagoro to appear, then use Rolling Logs. Use Xiao Fu to trade hits with the enemy while depleting Akagoro's Flash Strike.
Then finish with Big Orange Cat + Xiao Fu.
Waves ② + ③
Keep summoning Xiao Fu to end the battle, as he can push Akagoro away. Otherwise, Akagoro's basic attacks are too painful, and even Big Orange Cat can't withstand them.
[Stage 20]
Give Steel Claws and Sharp Blades to Akagoro.
Wave ①
Start with the standard mine-laying strategy. Wait for Ugi to appear, then throw Rolling Logs. When the enemy gets close to the base, finish with two Akagoros.
Waves ② + ③
Keep summoning Akagoro to end the battle.
