"Blood of Dawnwalkers" Officially Responds to Japanese Players' Requests: Blood Restrictions to Be Removed in Japanese Version

The highly anticipated vampire-themed open-world blockbuster Blood of Dawnwalkers has just launched, but it has sparked dissatisfaction among Japanese players. Perhaps the developers initially assumed Japanese players weren't fond of bloody violence, resulting in stricter gore restrictions in the Japanese version. On September 4, the developers announced they are considering removing the gore restrictions in the Japanese version and adding support for multiple languages.

Blood of Dawnwalkers received a CERO: Z (18+) rating in Japan, which many Japanese players criticized as overly strict. Considering the intensity of Japanese horror films, Rebel Wolves Studio clearly underestimated Japanese players' tolerance for gore and violence.

·It's unreasonable for a game so closely tied to blood to have so little gore? The developers stated they are listening to Japanese players' feedback and will soon release a hotfix to address this decision.
