The indie game "Meow Meow Combination" recently received a major update, with the developers announcing the addition of Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Simplified Chinese language support. The development team expressed gratitude to players who participated in testing and provided feedback, and welcomed further suggestions for translation improvements through designated channels.
Even more notably, the game is set to launch on all next-gen consoles on September 8. This announcement was officially made at Gamescom.
The console versions support cross-platform progress synchronization: all three console platforms can link to Steam accounts, allowing players to download and play their Steam Cloud saves from each slot and upload them back to the Steam Cloud. Additionally, all three console versions support standard controller inputs and are compatible with keyboard and mouse. The Switch 2 version supports Joy-Con 2 mouse operation and touch screen controls, while the PS5 version supports DualSense touchpad operation.
The developers also shared behind-the-scenes photos of the team testing mouse controls on Switch 2, describing the experience as "basically perfect."
