Square Enix recently released a new update for the PC version of Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles, removing the Denuvo anti-tamper protection used in the game. About a year after its release, the PC version no longer uses this technology.
It is reported that the contract between the publisher and Denuvo developer Irdeto is typically for six months. Previously, DenuvOwO had released a hypervisor-based crack for this game, but as of now, no traditional cracked version of the game has appeared.
Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles is currently available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. This removal of Denuvo only applies to the PC version.
