Recently, MSI launched its new high-end monitor, the MEG X Supreme. It features a 5th-generation AI QD-OLED panel with a 34-inch size, 21:9 aspect ratio, 1800R curvature, and near-4K resolution at 360Hz. The monitor supports various AI innovative functions, and its entire body adopts a full-metal design accented with multiple ARGB lighting effects, perfectly combining aesthetics with performance. Currently, the new product is listed at 9,599 yuan but is out of stock. Prices may change upon release, so interested players are advised to keep an eye on it. The manufacturer provides a three-year warranty (screen burn-in replacement, repair by replacement).
The front of the MEG X Supreme continues the mainstream three-sided narrow bezel design. The screen surface is covered with a Shadow Armor film based on the latest generation of mirror anti-reflective technology, significantly improving black depth/transparency and scratch resistance, achieving a hardness of 3H. A dazzling light strip is embedded below the screen to create an immersive atmosphere, and it is equipped with an AI CARE sensor that automatically detects human presence and intelligently adjusts the screen's optimal display status (including smart sleep). The top and base are engraved with the iconic MEG logo. The compact metal base is stable, durable, and space-saving. Furthermore, the back of the monitor is covered with a large, precision-engineered aluminum panel integrated with infinite mirror lighting effects, providing a premium feel while utilizing graphene material for excellent heat dissipation.
The 5th-generation AI QD-OLED panel used in the MEG X Supreme is based on RGB stripe sub-pixels, offering clearer and brighter text and image display compared to previous EL Gen3 materials with a 5-layer tandem structure. The screen has a viewing angle of 178 degrees (horizontal and vertical), native 10-bit color depth, and a response time as low as 0.3ms GtG. SDR/HDR brightness levels are 300 and 1300 nits respectively, with a typical contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1. Color gamut coverage includes 97% Adobe RGB, 99% DCI-P3, and 136% sRGB volume. Color accuracy is DeltaE < 2, and it comes with a factory calibration report. Additionally, it supports hardware-level low blue light, anti-glare, and flicker-free technology, and has obtained certifications including TUV, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500, VESA ClearMR 18000, NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for screen tearing prevention.
In addition to standard software features such as display size adjustment, zoom mode, KVM switch, firmware updates, and lighting control, MSI has added several AI innovative functions to the MEG X Supreme: The AI Dashboard allows custom synchronization of the light strip with in-game health bars; in non-gaming states, the light strip can synchronize visual colors with the current screen content via AI streaming; AI Echo Vision presents corresponding visualization effects of stereo audio positions through the light strip; AI Scene and Sound Recognition switches the corresponding display mode and EQ curve based on the current game attributes; AI Dark Boost PLUS achieves pixel-level brightness enhancement; and AI Super Resolution intelligently optimizes image clarity. When the computer is connected via the USB upstream cable, the software interface supports keyboard and mouse control.
In terms of connectivity, the MEG X Supreme is equipped with two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 2.1a (UHBR20), one USB-C (DP Alt.), one USB 5Gbps Type-B, two USB 5Gbps Type-A ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It comes with a DP 2.1 80Gbps cable. Its ergonomic cantilever stand offers height adjustment from 0 to 110mm, horizontal rotation from -30° to 30°, tilt from -5° to 15°, and vertical pivot from -90° to 90°. It also reserves a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount, facilitating the use of third-party monitor arms.
