During today's Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2026 livestream, Hideo Kojima shared updates on the new horror title OD and the new action spy thriller Physint. Bill Skarsgård has been confirmed to star in Physint.
Publisher Xbox Game Studios and developer Kojima Productions have announced that Bill Skarsgård will star as the protagonist in the action spy game Physint.
Hideo Kojima, founder of Kojima Productions, stated in a press release: "I am delighted to confirm that Bill Skarsgård will play the lead role in Physint. We are both huge fans of each other's work and have decided to embark on this new adventure together. Earlier this year, we conducted costume fittings, scans, and test shoots with Bill and Charlie, which has given me great confidence in the project's direction."
Skarsgård joins a cast that includes Charlie Frazer, Ma Dong-seok, and Minami Hamabe, with Hideo Kojima promising to reveal more casting information in the future.
Kojima Productions also provided a brief update on the upcoming horror game OD, releasing behind-the-scenes footage of stars Sophia Lillis and Hunter Schafer during motion capture sessions.
Bill Skarsgård previously portrayed Pennywise in the 2017 film It. Casting, talent scouting, and collaborations with external creators for Physint are currently underway. The team also unveiled new posters featuring Bill Skarsgård and Charlie Frazer, photographed by Hideo Kojima.
